Emergency ladders are safety equipment installed on buildings to allow rapid evacuation in emergency situations, such as fire. They are usually attached outside the walls and allow for a quick descent from one floor to another.
Made of galvanized steel or aluminium, they are designed to be solid, durable and weather resistant. Some are equipped with crinolins (protection cages) to avoid falls, especially on large heights.
